Organize-It-Online Announces Site Redesign
Shelby Township, MI (PRWEB) August 15, 2009 -- In an effort to better serve its online shoppers, www.Organize-It-Online.com, an online retailer of storage and organization products, launched a completely redesigned website on August 6, 2009. The redesign, the first for Organize-It-Online since 2004, features an updated look and feel, user-friendly site navigation, an updated shopping cart and a new logo.
Organize-It-Online web developer, Derek Wargo, set to work designing the new, user friendly navigation for the site. "People can find the products that they are looking for more quickly and easily thanks to the new navigation design," says Wargo "the structure is now more in line with the navigation that online shoppers are accustomed to". While the hOrganize-It-Online.com site has always featured state of the art site search, Wargo notes that users who choose not to use the search function can easily browse to items. He likens the new navigation to shopping at a brick and mortar store: "When shoppers browse, the experience is more akin to perusing the aisle of a store. They see a grouping of similar items, and choose the one they like the best."
Along with the updated navigation, Organize-It-Online features a new, modern look and feel. "The look of the site was created with help from Solid Cactus, and we think shoppers are going to really like the end result" says general manager Chris Nylen. "The design is clean and modern and pleasing to the eye," says Nylen, "people are going to enjoy the visual presentation: it's very easy to shop." One major difference in the new design is that it is optimized for a 1024 x 768 screen resolution, which makes each page more spacious and will look better on most newer model computer screens.
Also getting a face-lift is the Organize-It-Online shopping cart. The simplified checkout process features only three easy to use checkout steps. Customers can change quantities easily from within the shopping cart, and the fewer number of pages reduces checkout time.
Several other new features have been added to Organize-It-Online during the redesign. A new closet design consultation feature allows customers to set up an interactive appointment with an Organize-It closet designer. The closet designer uses computer aided design software and screen sharing to work with customers to design a custom closet. Custom design is available for all of Organize-It-Online's custom closet systems and components.
In addition to the closet design function, Organize-It-Online customers are now able to sign up to receive valuable coupons and newsletters via email. "We plan to send messages to our customers on a monthly basis," says Kelli Patterson, Organize-It-Online marketing coordinator. The emails will offer coupons and deals to customers who sign up or opt-in. In keeping with a price-minded theme, deep discounts will be offered on a "Sale Item of the Week" viewable from every page.
www.Organize-It-Online.com is already planning future enhancements, too. "We are planning to add a shop by brand feature that allows shoppers to browse products from their favorite brands," says Wargo. "Currently, users can search brands and find all the products that way, but we'd like to give them the opportunity to browse and maybe discover new brands they hadn't heard of," he continues.
Organize-It-Online.com an independent retailer, was founded in 1997, and offers a variety of storage and organizing products and other practical home, garage and office wares. Custom closets, including design and installation services, are also available at Organize-It's Shelby Township, Michigan retail showroom.
