Shelby Township, MI (PRWEB) July 28, 2009 -- Calling all clutter bugs: Organize-It is in search of America's messiest closet. The Messiest Closet Contest pits shoe hoarders against clothes collectors and packrats of all sorts in a match to see who's in the most dire need of a closet transformation.
The owner of America's messiest closet will receive a freedomRail closet makeover worth up to $1000. freedomRail is an easy to install, fully adjustable closet system. Organize-It's professional closet designers will work with the winner to create a truly custom and personalized closet space with enough storage for all that clutter. If the Messiest Closet Contest winner resides in southeast Michigan, installation will also be included.
To get them started on their organization missions, the second place winner will receive a $100 Organize-It gift card, and third place will receive a $50 gift card. The gift cards can be used online at Organizeit.com or in the Organize-It store in Shelby Township, Michigan.
The Messiest Closet Contest will be held primarily on the newly launched Organize-It page on Facebook. Fans of the Organize-It page can easily upload and share their photos and stories with Organize-It and other fans. The Organize-It page on Facebook also provides fans with quick updates on sales and promotions.
Residents of the 48 contiguous United States are encouraged to submit digital photos of their messy closets beginning August 1, 2009. Submissions will be accepted through August 31, 2009. To be considered for the contest, at least one photograph must be submitted; however, Organize-It is encouraging contestants to submit up to eight photos.
Contestants in the Messiest Closet Contest must submit digital photographs to be eligible to win the closet makeover. To enter the contest, simply visit the Messy Closet Contest page (http://www.organizeit.com/closet_contest.asp?cmpid=pr709) for all the details. Follow the link to the Organize-It page on Facebook, become a fan and upload your messy closet photos for all the world to see. Photos may also be emailed to Organize-It, but be sure to include your name, address and phone number in the email.
On September 10, 2009, Organize-It will announce the winner of the closet makeover, along with second and third place gift cards on their website Organizeit.com (http://www.organizeit.com/index.asp?cmpid=pr709) and the Organize-It page on Facebook.
