Organize.com Launches Dorm Registry
Riverside, CA (PRWEB) July 14, 2008 -- Organize.com (www.organize.com), a leading retailer of home storage and organization consumer products, announces the launch of Dorm Registry as part of their Back to School 2008 campaign. "We've taken shopping for Back to School and Campus to another level and again made it easy for the customer to shop", says Deborah Shearer, Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising.
The Dorm Registry works just like a typical bridal or gift registry, but gives customers the opportunity to "Buy Now" and "Send Later." This will allow the student or parent to shop the site and build their registry at their convenience. When the student is ready to receive all their items, the order will ship to their home or directly to the dorm as they arrive to campus. When designing Dorm Registry, Organize.com reached their goal in creating simple steps in use and functionality. These unique features are also accompanied by a 10% discount for all students when they sign up for the Dorm Registry. In addition, customers can enter to win Organize.com's Rock Your Dorm Giveaway. With eight winners in all, they will have a chance to receive a $500, $250 or $125 gift certificate so they can stock up on all the latest and greatest gear for the dorm.
While remaining focused on storage and organization, Organize.com also strives to do the work for their customer with merchandising. "In doing so, we have established an elaborate and stylish back to campus collection for all the necessities and must haves for the dorm," says Shearer. Based on color and theme, they have put together eight patterns that meet the needs for everyone from the fashion savvy, the urban socialite to the focused scholar. Organize.com has compiled over 1,000 products that will bring organization and function to the student's closet, laundry, bathroom, study area and desk.
In addition to meeting customers' lifestyles and needs in their merchandising strategy, Organize.com has compiled a list of 25 items that they do not carry, but know the customer is going to need when starting back to school. "I guess you could say it's a little like Miracle on 34th Street at back to school time. As a company, we will continue to find ways to excite and delight our customer and take the extra step as internet retailers," says Terry Shearer, President and Founder of Organize.com.
