Scrapbooking Tips

I love organizing my scrapbook materials practically as much as actually scrapbooking! It is difficult to find nice neat ways to organize the papers, stickers, and punches. After much research and testing, here are some organizational strategies that are not only efficient but cheap as well!

12 x 12 papers: This one is hard to find storage for! I searched all over for an inexpensive way to store this and the only holders I could find cost around $150. Right when I was about to give up I discovered a solution that only cost me $12. I bought some cube wire shelves that you simply snap together. I made 3 cubes and then used the rest of the squares to create shelves by using zip ties. I laid some cardboard in a page protector on every shelf to make the paper easy to slide in and out.

8 x 11 papers: I just bought some magazine holders and store my paper vertical. It frees up a lot of space this way.

Stickers: I found a 12 x 12 accordion file with many pockets. I marked every pocket with a different topic such as flowers, love, and alphabets and organized the stickers according to that.

Punches: A set of little plastic desktop drawers fits all my punches wonderfully.

Small Embellishments: Tackle boxes with several little compartments fit different kinds of embellishments together in one place.

I sincerely hope that a few of these tips have aided you in becoming a little more organized when you begin to get organized, you might love it just as much as scrapbooking!
